Can anybody help me?
I have been using Richard Mohler's Clearcut Media widget which I really really like for a couple of weeks when one day when I started the pc and expecting to see it on my desktop as per usual once pc had finished loading only to find it wasn't there
When I opened the widget manager it was listed as running. But it is nowhere to be found on the desktop and I can't seem to access it by any means at all.

I've tried unloading it and reloading it, but no luck. It still says it's there (but nowhere that I can see)
I've even tried deleting it from the widgets cache and then downloading it again but all to no avail.

Can anybody help me???

I, too, have the same problem with a couple of widgets.. they sometimes disappear, or only blink for one clock cycle, when I load them, then they are listed as running, in DX Builder version, but aren't visible on the desktop. One example is Tiggz' great clock that spells out the time is "fuzzy" terms. It's called, of course, "Fuzzy Clock". It worked well for a couple of weeks of daily use, eight hours a day, then doesn't show up...(?!). I've tried reinstalling DX3, deleting all traces of widgets and objects, etc, but no joy. If I get any answer to this, I'll post here.

I have reported this behavior several times, but things like these never happen to anyone important, so they are not existant.

I suspect that the widgets have somehow been moved off the viewable area of the screen. This is only a suspicion, as I haven't experienced this myself.

Another possibility is that the widgets were closed while invisible, or made invisible and thought lost. If you hit F10 at any point while the widgets were sensitive, they would have hidden themselves.

Try loading the widget and hitting F10.

Try importing the widget into DesktopX Builder. Use the List Objects view to examine the parts. Look at each objects, starting with whichever seems to be the Main or Parent. On the Relation tab, is visible set to "No"? Change that to yes. On the summary tab, are the left or top number very high or negative in value? Change them to numbers that will fit inside your screen resolution.

Again, not having experienced this, I can only speculate, but I hope that if these suggestions don't fix the problem, that you find it along the way!

PS I would think that a good cleansing of the cache would resolve any of these, but who knows, maybe things got set wrong in the widget file itself.

rr, many thanks for the DX tips! I've had DX since the beginning, but haven't had the patience to explore it 'til now. Sounds like just the advice I can use, one way or another.
